Kevin Love
In the event that the Milwaukee Bucks have nowhere else to look, the Cleveland Cavaliers could provide an option. Kevin Love will likely be on the trade block this offseason and could be a fit next to Giannis Antetokounmpo. Of course, this deal would almost certainly have to include Brook Lopez. The Bucks can’t be starting Giannis, Love, and Lopez in the frontcourt. That’s a no-no.
Nevertheless, Love is still a productive player at this point in his career. Plus, he’s a good rebounder (better than Lopez) and has been battle-tested in the postseason. He knows what it takes to win in the playoffs and perhaps the best attribute in his game is the fact that he already knows how to play like a third option. He won’t need the ball in his hands much, per se, and could still be effective.
I’m not sure if swapping Lopez for Love necessarily raises this team’s ceiling all that much, but he could offer a breath of fresh air that a team like the Milwaukee Bucks need.
