Luke Kennard, Detroit Pistons

Luke Kennard, believe it or not, is actually somewhat of a folk hero on some parts of Twitter. Therefore, he counts as a big-name for the sake of this list. However, Kennard is an interesting name to keep an eye on. He may not have developed into the player that many were hoping him to be at this point of his career, but has been a consistent 3-point shooter (even as his volume has increased).

He has shot roughly 40 percent throughout the first three years of his career and could be an ideal fit in a Mike D’Antoni-run offense on the Sixers. He would make even more sense considering the Sixers are looking for help in the backcourt. While he could be difficult to tear out of the hands of the Pistons, he could be well worth the gamble down the line.

If the Pistons are looking to hit the hard reset button, Kennard could be a player that could potentially be had on the trade market. He has a reasonably cheap contract and would be an ideal target for a team like the Sixers.

Again, the fact that he’s just 24 years old and is coming off a career-year could be difficult to find the right trading price, but the Pistons are listening to offers (which they 100 percent should be) the Sixers should be on line 1. Especially if D’Antoni becomes a real candidate for the team’s head-coaching job.
