4. Chicago Bulls – Killian Hayes, G, ratiopharm Ulm

As the Chicago Bulls turn a new leaf under Billy Donovan, the team’s newest head coach, I can’t help but wonder if he’s going to want this high draft pick to define the start of his new era. And what better way to do that with perhaps the best point guard in this draft – Killian Hayes, who has been rising up draft boards over the last few weeks.

Even though the Bulls have Kris Dunn, Coby White, and Zach LaVine in the fold, Killian Hayes, if he becomes the player that many believe he can be, could be a real game-changer for a franchise that hasn’t had a dynamic lead-guard since Derrick Rose was healthy.

This is not to say that Hayes will be the next Rose – or even has the capability to do so but he has a high ceiling and could end up developing into the best player to come out of this draft class. Hayes has improved his shooting efficiency mightily over the last couple of seasons (arguably his biggest flaw) and posted 46 percent shooting from the field and 39 percent shooting from 3-point range this past season with ratiopharm Ulm.
