2. Indiana Pacers (via Golden State) – LaMelo Ball, G, Illawarra

With the No. 2 pick in the NBA draft, the Golden State Warriors trade the selection to the Indiana Pacers in exchange for Myles Turner. The Warriors would get they’re coveted big man that they could play alongside Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green.

Turner is a really good defensive presence and can protect the rim as few others can in the NBA. Perhaps the greatest thing about Turner is that he doesn’t need the ball in his hands on the offense of and to be effective. As for the Pacers, with the second pick in the 2020 NBA draft, they could select LaMelo Ball, who many believe is the top overall prospect in this class.

The Pacers would get a potential future superstar in Ball and could still move Victor Oladipo if they don’t want to pay him max money this offseason. With this move and this selection, the Pacers would be considered one of the better young teams in the Eastern Conference.

LaMelo ball will be able to sell tickets, run the offense in and potential new system, be the face of the Pacers, and be in a place where he could emerge as the next young superstar in the Eastern Conference.
