Acquiring Aaron Gordon and Markelle Fultz

If the Minnesota Timberwolves are looking for an impact wing player that could thrive next to D’Angelo Russell and Karl-Anthony Towns, Aaron Gordon would appear to be a fit. Gordon is coming off a productive season that unfortunately came to an end in the NBA’s restart bubble due to injury.

Gordon is coming off an injury in which he averaged 14 points and eight rebounds on 44 percent shooting from the field and 31 percent shooting from 3-point range. Markelle Fultz would be thrown in by the Orlando Magic to help seal the deal as a sweetener. Even though Fultz hasn’t been the player most expected him to be coming out of the draft, he’s developed into a solid point guard.

The Orlando Magic would be able to hit the hard reset button with the No. 1 overall pick and would hopefully be able to snag a future franchise player. At the very least, they’ll be able to draft a player that will be able to sell tickets – perhaps LaMelo Ball.
