27. New York Knicks – Desmond Bane, G, TCU

Desmond Bane might be the biggest sleeper in this draft and will likely be taken in the bottom third of the first round. Bane is coming off a senior season in which he 17 points, six rebounds, and four assists on 45 percent shooting from the field and 44 percent shooting from 3-point range. He’d be a good get for the Knicks at No. 27.

28. Los Angeles Lakers – Tyler Bey, G, Colorado

Tyler Bey is an interesting player that could end up being drafted outside of the first round, but he has great size and ability to grow into a good player. The potential is there and has improved as a 3-point shooter over his three seasons in college. If he can continue to build off that, he’ll find a place on an NBA team.

29. Toronto Raptors – Vernon Carey Jr., F, Duke

With the chance that the Toronto Raptors could lose both Marc Gasol and Serge Ibaka this summer, Vernon Carey Jr. could emerge as a fit for a team that could be in the market for some frontcourt depth. While there are questions about Carey and his fit in the modern NBA, you can’t argue with his college production.

30. Boston Celtics – Isaiah Stewart, F, Washington

With their final pick in the first round of the 2020 NBA Draft, it would make sense for the Boston Celtics to add some depth to the frontcourt in the way of Isaiah Stewart, who averaged 17 points and nine rebounds on 57 percent shooting from the field.
