10. Phoenix Suns – Kira Lewis Jr., G, Alabama

With the 10th overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft, expect the Phoenix Suns to take a player that complements Devin Booker and one that could grow alongside both Booker and Deandre Ayton. At this point in the draft with the way the board has fallen, drafting Kira Lewis Jr. could be viewed as a bit of reach, but he’s a great fit and target.

Lewis is coming off a season in which he averaged 19 points, five rebounds, and five assists on 46 percent shooting from the field and 37 percent shooting from 3-point range. He’s a good rebounder for his size (6-foot-3) and has proved to be a good playmaker at Alabama.

If he could cut down on his turnovers and mistakes on the offensive end, there’s no question that he could end up being quite a dynamic player in a few years. I’m not sure if he has the same star potential and as high as a ceiling as some of the other highly touted guards out of this draft class, but there is plenty to like about Kira Lewis Jr.’s game as he makes a transition to the NBA.
