10. Phoenix Suns – Devin Vassell, F, Florida State
After acquiring Chris Paul, it takes huge pressure on this team’s front office heading into the 2020 NBA Draft. Now that the point guard position is no longer an area of need, at least not for the next couple of seasons, the Suns can now simply take the best player available.
In this case, adding a potential 3-and-D replacement for Kelly Oubre Jr. would be smart. Devin Vassell is likely the top prospect that fits that role at this point in the draft. Vassell is one of the best shooters in this draft and offers versatility at 6-foot-7.
Vassell averaged 13 points, five rebounds, 1.5 steals, and one block per game on 49 percent shooting from the field and 42 percent shooting from 3-point range. If he can be a plus-defender and an above-average shooter, he’ll have plenty of opportunities to play a decent role for the Suns this season.
