What to be thankful for: Kevin Durant’s return

Thanks to the return of Kevin Durant in 2021, the Brooklyn Nets are slated to be a strong contender in the Eastern Conference. The Nets will likely be one of the two or three favorites to come out of the East and will be one of the most loaded teams in all the NBA.

Kevin Durant, along with Kyrie Irving, will play a big part in that next season. That’s what they should be thankful for the most.

Charlotte Hornets

What to be thankful for: LaMelo Ball falling to No. 3 in the 2020 NBA Draft

The Charlotte Hornets have been pretty much an afterthought in the Eastern Conference over the last few seasons. They’ve been irrelevant and even when they made the playoffs, they didn’t make much noise. Now, though, after drafting LaMelo Ball with the No. 3 overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft, they will at least be somewhat in the limelight in 2021.

If Ball is a star, then the Hornets will be in the spotlight even more so.
