Dallas Mavericks

What to be thankful for: Luka Doncic’s rise to superstardom

The Dallas Mavericks are all of a sudden one of the contenders in the Western Conference. A bit part of that has been the rise to superstardom from Luka Doncic. He is a dynamic offensive player that can’t help but make the players that he’s playing with better.

As long as the Mavs continue to build around their young star, there’s no question that this team’s future is going to be bright for a very long time.

Denver Nuggets

What to be thankful for: A run to the Western Conference Finals

The Denver Nuggets were one of the NBA’s best stories from the restart back in July. Even though their season can to an end at the hands of the Los Angeles Lakers, the fact that this team was able to take the next step in their progression was great.

The Nuggets are now a team that will no longer be overlooked and will be a contender heading into 2020-21. After the show that Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray put on the playoffs last season, no one should be overlooking this team.
