What to be thankful for: Two more years of control over James Harden

Even though James Harden may have demanded a trade (and to the Brooklyn Nets), because he’s still under contract for at least two more years with the club the Rockets will be able to be patient in finding the right deal that makes sense for them.

Harden can pitty-party all he wants, but he doesn’t have much leverage with the current contract that he’s on. It’s the truth.

What to be thankful for: Victor Oladipo being all-in on 2020-21 with Indiana

Whether you believe him or not is an entirely different story, but Victor Oladipo appears to be all-in on the 2020-21 season with the Indiana Pacers. He’s been linked to many other teams via the trade market but it appears he’s stuck with Indiana for the time being.

If Oladipo is healthy again, perhaps this is the season that will mend fences between the two parties and this could be a long-term relationship again.
