Memphis Grizzlies

What to be thankful for: A promising young core

Even though the Memphis Grizzlies might have not made the playoffs during the NBA’s restart, there is plenty to be excited about for this team heading into the 2020-21 season. The Grizzlies, and their fans, should be thankful for their young core.

Led by Ja Morant and Jaren Jackson Jr., the Grizzlies have a bright future. And we haven’t even really seen Justise Winslow play with this core. Get ready, the Grizzlies’ time might be on the horizon.

Miami Heat

What to be thankful for: Jimmy and Bam

The Miami Heat are fresh off a surprising and inspiring run to the NBA Finals a season ago. Led by Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo, the Heat is in good hands. They have a good young core, appealing assets, and have their eyes on pursuing Giannis Antetokounmpo next offseason.

Will the Heat be back in the NBA Finals next season? Who knows, but this team will be in contention in the Eastern Conference for a very long time.
