Milwaukee Bucks

What to be thankful for: Giannis not demanding a trade

After a disappointing exit from the playoffs at the hands of the Miami Heat in the second round, the Milwaukee Bucks should be extremely thankful that Giannis Antetokounmpo hasn’t formally requested a trade from the team.

In fact, there are whispers that the team feels good about the potential of him signing a max extension this offseason. We’ll see about that.

Minnesota Timberwolves

What to be thankful for: A worthy young big three

There will be no more excuses for the Minnesota Timberwolves heading into the 2020-21 season. With a worthy young big three in Karl-Anthony Towns, D’Angelo Russell, and now Anthony Edwards, it appears that all the pieces are in place for the Wolves to be real players in the Western Conference.

They might need some time to develop but the Wolves should be a factor in the playoff picture in the next year or two. If not, something has gone terribly wrong.
