Christmas wishlist: A nice return for LaMarcus Aldridge, DeMar DeRozan

The San Antonio Spurs are an interesting team. For the majority of the offseason, they were somewhat quiet. When many expected them to be active in trade talks concerning LaMarcus Aldridge and DeMar DeRozan, that came as somewhat of a surprise.

Still, there’s nothing more that Spurs fans should be hoping for this Christmas season than a good payoff from potential DeRozan and Aldridge trades. I will be highly surprised if both of these players finished the regular season on the Spurs, and I think it should be expected that these players will be on new teams by or before the NBA Trade Deadline.

The hope is that the Spurs will be able to cash-in on these two players as they look to retool in the next few years.
