NBA prediction: The Minnesota Timberwolves will make the playoffs

On paper, it’s tough not to like Minnesota Timberwolves heading into the 2020-21 NBA season. Even more so after adding Anthony Edwards with the first overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft. That said, this season will largely be determined by the effectiveness of Karl-Anthony Towns and D’Angelo Russell.

The Wolves will only go as far as that dynamic duo can take them. And I believe that this will be the year that the Wolves finally make a return to the postseason. Even though it will be tough in the deep West, I believe the Wolves are primed for a breakout season.

Minnesota is my pick for a sleeper team in the West to make the postseason. Here’s hoping that they don’t make me look foolish when this season is all said and done.
