NBA prediction: The Golden State Warriors will not make the playoffs

While a lot has been made about how the Golden State Warriors will fare this season with the return of Stephen Curry, I still perceive this year as somewhat of a lost season after it was announced that Klay Thompson would be missing the year after suffering another significant injury.

Even though I believe that Curry will have a phenomenal bounce-back season, I simply don’t believe he will be good enough to single-handedly catapult the Warriors that far up the standings in the West.

The West is too deep and the Warriors, even though they will be better than last season, simply don’t have the top-level talent that it takes to win consistently in the Western Conference. This is simply not their year, and that was very much evident as soon as Klay Thompson went down with another significant injury during the offseason.
