NBA storyline: Who will rise in the Western Conference?

After watching what transpired during the NBA playoffs last season in the Western Conference, it’ll be interesting to see how the Western Conference falls this season. And we’re going to find out a lot about these teams at the very beginning of the season.

Will the Los Angeles Lakers miss a beat coming off an NBA Championship? Will they play it conservatively with LeBron James and Anthony Davis? How will the LA Clippers bounce back after the offseason that they just had? Will Kawhi Leonard and Paul George still be on a “load management” plan?

After a successful playoff run, will the Denver Nuggets pick up where they left off? Which other Western Conference teams will begin to rise above the rest? The West is littered with interesting storylines and I can’t wait to see how the standings begin to shake out during the start of the season.
