Are the LA Clippers finally the contender many thought they’d be a season ago?

After an embarrassing show in the playoffs last season in the NBA’s restart bubble, the LA Clippers have come into the 2020-21 season with a chip on its shoulder and it appears to be working. Paul George and Kawhi Leonard are one of the league’s most productive duos in the NBA and either one of them could be a favorite to win the MVP award.

The Clippers have the best record (loss column) in the NBA and have the NBA’s best offense. While their defense isn’t where it needs to be or where they like, that will hopefully coming over the next few weeks.

Of course, no one is going to give the Clippers any love until they prove it in the playoffs. While that may be true, you can’t deny that LA has been extremely impressive so far this season. I’m intrigued by their start and can’t wait to see what this team will do in the playoffs.
