What’s next for the Minnesota Timberwolves?

After winning their first two games of the season, not much has gone right for the Minnesota Timberwolves. While a lot of their recent slump has been due to Karl-Anthony Towns being out of the lineup (due to injury and then illness), you can’t help but question the direction of this franchise.

Since winning their first two games, the Wolves have lost 11 of their last 13 games. Nothing is working for the Wolves this season and they have the second-worst offense and a bottom 5 defense in the league.

After acquiring D’Angelo Russell at last year’s NBA Trade Deadline, many hoped and believed that this team would look a lot different this year. At the very least, they’d be contending for one of the final playoff spots in the Western Conference. That simply hasn’t happened and it might be time for a pivot from the franchise.
