Miami Heat
It’s no surprise to see the Miami Heat on this list. This team is a below-average defensive team and gets destroyed on the wing on what seems like a nightly basis. They’re also the worst rebounding team in the league and would greatly benefit from any defensive help at the NBA Trade Deadline.
After the injury, which will cost him the remainder of the season, to Meyers Leonard, there’s no question that this team needs help in the frontcourt. The big question is whether the Heat would be willing to pay the price that the Rockets want.
If Miami can string together a few wins in a row before the NBA Trade Deadline, and get within striking distance of the 4th or 5th seed, perhaps this becomes more of a possibility than it is at the moment. At the very least, P.J. Tucker should certainly be on the Heat’s radar.
