14. San Antonio Spurs

The San Antonio Spurs are exactly what we expect them to be. They are well-coached, competitive, and are going to be in the playoff race until proven otherwise. Keep an eye on San Antonio as they could be active at the NBA Trade Deadline.

If they are, there’s a high chance of this team falls out of the playoff race entirely and throws a wrench in the West standings.

13. Memphis Grizzlies

After a bad start to the season, the Memphis Grizzlies are beginning to peak at the right time. They’re 7-3 over the last 10 games, which includes losing their last two, and have climbed back into the playoff picture of the Western Conference.

On paper, Memphis should be a playoff team in the West. Though, with how deep the conference is, that’s not a foregone conclusion.
