4. LA Clippers

After last year’s playoff performance, it seems like almost everyone has forgotten about the LA Clippers and how dangerous this team can be when they’re hitting on all cylinders and playing at a high-level.

We’ve seen that so far this season and the Clippers haven’t disappointed. Both Paul George and Kawhi Leonard are off to fantastic starts and the team is proving that it can be the contender that many expected them to be last season.

3. Utah Jazz

The Utah jazz continues to be one of the most surprising teams from the Western Conference. They have a top-five offense, defense, and net rating and have one of the league’s best young rising stars in Donovan Mitchell.

Even though many will still question this team’s ability to beat any of the Western Conference contenders in a seven-game series, there’s no question that this team has proved that it is for real. Utah will be a threat throughout the regular season. Question is, can they be one in the playoffs?
