Golden State Warriors trade target: Victor Oladipo, Houston Rockets

One final and perhaps the best potential trade target that could find their way to the trade block is Victor Oladipo. The Houston Rockets are just one game out of the 14th seed in the Western Conference standings at the moment and this team is going to continue to struggle over the next couple of weeks without Christian Wood in the lineup.

If the Rockets feel they’re falling out of the playoff race in the West, it wouldn’t be surprised for them to try and get an asset or two for Oladipo at the NBA Trade Deadline before they could possibly lose him for nothing during the offseason. In that event, the Warriors should absolutely jump at the opportunity to land the all-star talent.

Oladipo would be a great fit next to Curry and would help this team on both ends of the floor, as well as becoming a second playmaker on the offense. With all due respect to both Oubre and Wiggins, but Oladipo would be a huge upgrade over both of them. If the Warriors are looking to make a splash at the trade deadline, I’m not sure how much better of an upgrade that they can make than Victor Oladipo.
