Why the Cleveland Cavaliers shouldn’t trade Kevin Love: He’s a great fit next to Jarrett Allen

While Andre Drummond has been great so far this season, I believe that the expectation is that he’s not going to be a future piece for this team moving forward. In fact, you could make the argument that the team made that clear when they acquired Jarrett Allen as part of the James Harden blockbuster deal earlier this season.

Interestingly enough, Kevin Love is an ideal fit as a power forward next to Jared Allen. He’d help stretch the defense and could hang around the 3-point line on the offensive end while Allen cleans up the paint offensively and protects the rim on the defensive end.

At least for one season, assuming Allen is going to be the starting center next year, I’d like to see a healthy Love next to him in the starting lineup.
