Big-name NBA trade candidates: Kevin Love
It seems like Kevin Love is always a candidate to be traded at the deadline every year, and this year will be no different even though he hasn’t played much this season with the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Love is still a good player that can stretch the floor on the offensive end and rebound at a high rate on the defensive side of a ball. That said, you have to wonder if any team is willing to take on Love’s big contract. Love is due roughly $60 million over the next two seasons (after this year).
Love would fit on nearly every team and his game will likely age gracefully over the next few seasons, but I don’t think it’s a foregone conclusion that he’s moved. Love might be more valuable to the Cavs on the team than off it at this point. His trade value might be at an all-time low.
