Teams that need to make a move at the NBA Trade Deadline: Minnesota Timberwolves
Just when it seems like the Minnesota Timberwolves were turning the corner as a franchise, after acquiring D’Angelo Russell from the Golden State Warriors at the NBA Trade Deadline last season, they turn around and are on pace to finish as the worst team in the NBA this season.
While they have a really good player in Karl-Anthony Towns, this team simply doesn’t have enough talent right now to compete in a deep and talented Western Conference. Maybe this team develops in a year or two but right now this team is not really good.
The question that the Wolves need to answer is whether or not they should make a big move at the deadline. Perhaps this team needs to package a young player or two to acquire a more veteran, seasoned star that could help push Towns and Russell.
