Teams that should target DeMarcus Cousins: Boston Celtics

The Boston Celtics‘ lack of tall presence is evident, and this Boston team needs a player of Cousins caliber now more than ever. Boston has been struggling, losing 10 of its last 15 games, and could use some veteran experience to help get this young team back on track.

Cousins would provide that experience, and also help what is an average-looking frontcourt. While Tristan Thompson and Daniel Theis are no pushovers, Cousins is averaging similar numbers to both men and has arguably more upside.

His 28-point, 17-rebound display against the Dallas Mavericks proves that Cousins still has the ability to light it up when he hits his groove. He can create his own offense and would help a team that is struggling on both ends of the floor in their latest stretch.

While Boston will certainly turn it around, having a player like Cousins on the team would only help that process by providing a solid level of play, experience and (barring any injuries) would be a cheap asset to have.
