10. Denver Nuggets

The Denver Nuggets have struggled to find true identity in the Western Conference season but the play of Nikola Jokic has helped them remain afloat despite their up-and-down play on the defensive side of the ball.

Even though the Nuggets are sitting in the 8th seed of the West at the moment, I don’t think you can entirely count out this team from potentially being a factor in the playoffs. Their core is still intact and will be dangerous against any team in a seven-game series

9. Golden State Warriors

The Golden State Warriors may not be championship contenders this season, as we’ve become a custom to them being in years past, but they are beginning to look a little like their old selves with each passing week.

While that’s good news, the great news for the Warriors is that Stephen Curry is at playing as good as he’s ever played and the fact that he still playing at this level after battling through injury last season is a good sign for this franchise moving
