6. Phoenix Suns

The Phoenix Suns are one of the best teams that no one seems to be talking about in the Western Conference. They are currently in the fourth seed and are playing the best basketball at the moment.

It may not feel like it, but the Suns are just 1.5 games out of the second seed in the West. You may continue to doubt Devin Booker as a star in the league but, soon enough, once the Suns make the playoffs, you won’t be able to do that anymore.

5. Los Angeles Lakers

So, it turns out, Anthony Davis is really important to the success of the Los Angeles Lakers. Without him in the lineup, the Lakers have been a shell of their former selves and oftentimes look lost on the offensive end.

Specifically, LeBron James having to carry the entire offensive load hasn’t been great for the Lakers. And understandably so; at this point in his career, he shouldn’t be asked to do that every night. The Lakers need AD back in the worse way.
