NBA Trade Deadline bold predictions: The Utah Jazz will add depth to the frontcourt
Despite their strong start to the season – the Utah Jazz is currently the top seed in the West with a 27-9 record – I believe that it would be a huge mistake for this team to simply stand pat at the NBA Trade Deadline. Utah needs to add depth to some area of its roster and the frontcourt would be a safe bet.
Utah has a strong trio of guards in Mike Conley, Jordan Clarkson, and Donovan Mitchell. Adding another guard wouldn’t exactly be a smart move – it’d be hard to find substantial minutes for any acquisition in the backcourt.
However, the team could look to add a power forward that could help in their playoff push. One potential target that makes sense is Thaddeus Young. He’s a veteran, would have a defined role, and comes with plenty of experience.
