2. Detroit Pistons – Jalen Green, G, NBA G League (Ignite)

The Detroit Pistons would love to land the No. 1 pick and inject Cade Cunningham into their franchise, but Jalen Green would be a solid consolation prize for earning the second overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft. Green elected not to play college basketball and instead played in the NBA’s G League Ignite.

Green is known as a “highlight” offensive player that can score from any part of the floor. He’s still extremely raw as an overall prospect and needs to improve on the defensive side of the floor – though, most prospects do.

Green is a prospect that will inject excitement and intrigue into a franchise that is in desperate need of it. He’d be a great first step as the Pistons begin to rebuild after parting ways with Blake Griffin.
