What the Phoenix Suns have done this season is nothing short of remarkable. The impact that Chris Paul has had on this team in such a short time can’t be overstated. Even though he doesn’t have the statistical numbers that many of the other top candidates have, Paul should absolutely get some MVP votes.

And Devin Booker will finally get the love that he deserves when he gets the national spotlight in a playoff series. All that said, I believe Phoenix, while a good team, might not be as good as the standings suggest at the moment.

I don’t believe that the Suns are the second-best team in the West and I predict that they’ll drop a bit back to the pack over the next few weeks. Still, they’re going to enter as the third seed and be an extremely dangerous team in the playoffs.
