3. Detroit Pistons – Evan Mobley, F, USC
It would be a shame if the Detroit Pistons aren’t able to secure a top 3 pick in this year‘s NBA draft, mostly because many believe that this is a two-prospect elite talent class. That said, taking a chance on a prospect such as Evan Mobley would be a great move for the Pistons at No. 3.
Mobley has drawn comparisons to Kevin Durant, and even though those are a bit premature, that just goes to show how high of the ceiling this player has. The Pistons would have to develop him at a controlled pace and would have to expect him to take a couple of years to fully developed into his potential.
Mobley would give the Pistons hope and a player to potentially build and develop around at No. 3.
