NBA storylines to follow in the final stretch of the regular season: Will the Golden State Warriors make the playoffs?

Even though there weren’t a ton of expectations on the Golden State Warriors heading into this season, with the way that the team and specifically Stephen Curry have played over the last couple of weeks, there’s no question that the NBA needs them to make the playoffs.

The Warriors are currently sitting in the 10th spot in the Western Conference standings and will need to win a playoff play-in tournament in order to truly qualify for the playoffs. With the way Curry has been lighting up the league in the month of April, it’s not something that is out of the realm of possibility.

Can you imagine the intrigue in a potential playoff series between a red-hot Curry and the Warriors against the Utah Jazz, Phoenix Suns, or LA Clippers? It’d be must-see TV and would bring a huge level of interest in a first-round series that isn’t always the case.
