Potential East x-factors in the NBA Playoffs: Tyler Herro, Miami Heat

I don’t think anyone would argue that Tyler Herro has had an ideal season coming off what he was able to accomplish last year in the NBA’s restart bubble. That said, I also don’t think it’s fair to entirely count him out as a potential x-factor in the postseason for the Miami Heat.

If there’s one thing that we know about the Heat this season, it’s that when their complementary players are playing at a high level this team is extremely difficult to beat. If Herro can play at the level that he’s played at since returning back from injury, over the last three games, there’s no question that he be an absolute difference-maker for the Heat in the playoffs.

One of the big reasons why Miami was able to make it all the way to the NBA Finals last season was due to the rise of a Tyler Herro. If the Heat is going to make a similar run in the playoffs this year, they’re going to need Herro to step up in a big way. With the way that he’s been trending over the last few games, there have been encouraging signs.
