Offseason trade targets for the Dallas Mavericks: Collin Sexton

Collin Sexton is a player that has already been linked to the trade block and one that could be attainable for a team such as the Mavs. If Dallas wanted to give Doncic another scoring guard next to him, Sexton would be a bit of an upgrade over Tim Hardaway Jr.

Sexton is significantly younger than Hardaway Jr. and has a bit of a higher ceiling at this point in his career. Sexton might not be a big name that many Mavs fans would want to see Dallas try to acquire this offseason, but one that could be had for a fairly low price.

The potential pairing would simply come down to pairing. If the Mavs believe that Sexton could play effectively off-ball, this would be a move that they should welcome. As great as Doncic is and can be, however, I don’t think that should be a big question mark.
