Offseason trade targets for the Dallas Mavericks: Myles Turner

Myles Turner is another productive player that could be had during the offseason, especially considering the shuffling that is taking place inside the Indiana Pacers franchise at the moment. Turner is coming off a season in which he averaged 13 points, seven rebounds, and 3.4 blocks per game.

He shoots a good percentage from the field, can stretch defenses to the 3-point line, and plays excellent defense. He’d be a great asset next to Doncic, especially defensively. If the Mavs are interested in getting better with their rim protection, there might not be a better option on the open market.

Turner is also a player that doesn’t need the ball in his hands to be effective. With as much as Doncic likes to play on-ball, those are exactly the types of talents they should be targeting.
