14. Anthony Edwards, 19, Minnesota Timberwolves
After somewhat of an up-and-down start to his rookie season, Anthony Davis really came on late in the season and there’s a good chance that he ends up winning the Rookie of the Year award. If nothing else, he proved he was worthy of being the No. 1 overall pick.
Even though this season will be considered another disappointment for the Minnesota Timberwolves, Edwards proved that he could be a valued building block for the team moving forward.
Edwards concluded his rookie season by averaging 19 points, five rebounds, and three assists on 42 percent shooting from the field. Edwards is extremely talented and has the potential to evolve strongly over the next few seasons.
