NBA Trade Rumors: Exploring 3 teams that should buy low on Kemba Walker this offseason.

The Boston Celtics took a significant step back in their progress this past season, whether that was due to a shortened offseason or this flawed roster. Nevertheless, it’s no surprise that we could see big changed for Boston this offseason – even more so considering the team made a pretty big change at the top of the franchise.

Danny Ainge is out and Brad Steven is now in as the president of basketball operations for the Celtics. One of the biggest first questions that he’ll have to answer on the job this offseason is what to do with Kemba Walker.

It’s already been rumored that Kemba and the Celtics could part ways this offseason and it will almost have to come via a trade. Kemba has two years remaining on his current contract with the Celtics, which includes a $37.6. million player option for the 2022-23 season.

It’d be extremely unlikely that Kemba would accept a buyout and he’ll almost certainly have to be traded for there to be a divorce between the two. Assuming it’s something that will be explored this offseason, we take a look at three teams that should attempt to buy low on Kemba this offseason.
