NBA teams that should buy low on Kemba Walker: New Orleans Pelicans

The negative noise surrounding the New Orleans Pelicans, especially after the announcement of the firing of Stan Van Gundy, is growing louder and louder. If there’s one thing that the Pelicans need to do this offseason, it’s improve the roster.

That’s something they’d be doing by acquiring Kemba Walker. He might not be the perfect addition to this roster but is a player that would help quell the negative momentum surrounding this team and would help this team win more games next season – especially if Kemba is healthier next season than he’s been in each of the last two seasons.

This is a low-risk move for the Pelicans considering he’d only be on the roster for two seasons and if it doesn’t work, there are bigger problems this team has to worry about than just Kemba’s salary.

New Orleans needs to make a move for a productive difference-maker. Kemba is probably going to be the cheapest one on the trade market.
