NBA Draft Thought No. 3: We could see plenty of trades as multiple teams have multiple first-round picks

Looking at the 2021 NBA Draft order in its entirety, I feel like there’s a good chance that we could see plenty of movement on draft night. The Magic have two lottery picks, the Warriors have two lottery picks, the Thunder have three first-round picks, the New York Knicks have two first-round picks, and the Rockets have three first-round picks.

Five teams almost own have of the first-round draft picks in this year’s draft. That’s pretty crazy and could open the door for some crazy moves on draft night. Considering we’ve already seen Kemba Walker traded, this could be a crazy offseason.

With the NBA Draft Lottery in the books, draft season is officially underway. And there’s a good chance we could be in for an interesting few weeks leading up to the draft.
