NBA Draft predictions: The San Antonio Spurs will trade up into the top 10

The San Antonio Spurs are certainly a team to keep an eye on heading into the 2021 NBA Draft. They have some solid young pieces on the roster that they could package together (along with their first-round draft pick) to try and move up into the top 10.

I believe that they’re going to attempt to do so and will be successful. I’m not sure exactly who the Spurs could or would be targeting in a potential move into the top 10, but this franchise has one of the best scouring departments in the league and I’m sure they know exactly what they’re doing.

The Spurs have now put together back-to-back disappointing seasons (ever since the departure of Kawhi Leonard) and it’s time that they make an effort to get a new face of the franchise. I believe the first step in doing so in trading up in this year’s NBA Draft.
