NBA Mock Draft 9.0: Houston Rockets take Evan Mobley; Ben Simmons is traded

13. Indiana Pacers – James Bouknight, G, UCONN

There have been rumblings that the Indiana Pacers aren’t quite sold on Malcolm Brogdon as the long-term answer for the team in the backcourt and it wouldn’t be surprising if this team addressed the backcourt in the lottery.

James Bouknight would be an interesting fit. He’s recently been mocked in the top 10 and it would be of great value if the Pacers could get him late in the lottery. Again, the Pacers are in a bit of a transition and there’s really no indication if this team is going to make moves to win now or play for the future.

Either way, Bouknight would be a good prospect that the team could stick into the system hoping that it’s a move that pays off in the future.
