14. Golden State Warriors
A case can be made that the Golden State Warriors are actually the biggest question mark of all the potential contenders in the Western Conference heading into the season. It’s difficult to project this team and there’s no knowing what they can be.
Stephen Curry is still one of the best players in the league and the team’s young players are going to continue to grow. Though, their chances of contending this season likely fall on the shoulders – or lower limbs – of Klay Thompson.
Thompson is coming off back-to-back significant injuries and there’s no guessing how he’s going to look when he makes his eventual return – likely a month or two into the regular season.
