Will the Warriors look like a contender?

Even though the Golden State Warriors won’t have all their hands on deck on opening night against the Lakers, we will get our first indication of what this team could look like this season. And, perhaps most importantly, whether this team will be a contender or not this year.

Led by Stephen Curry, we should get some early flashes from this team. And while going up against the Lakers on the first night of the season may be somewhat unfair, it could also be fun to see an undermanned Warriors team tested this early.

Will Curry go off? Will any of their young players flash on opening night? Could Steve Kerr be on the verge of another magical season? It all begins with a big test against a team that many believe could win the 2022 NBA championship.
