16. Minnesota Timberwolves

We’ve seen the Minnesota Timberwolves get off to fast starts in the past and I’m hoping that this time around, it’s a different result. The key for the Wolves is remaining healthy. Minnesota has talent. Anthony Edwards looks like the real deal and D’Angelo Russell has recovered nicely early this year.

Question is, can they sustain this?

15. Dallas Mavericks

The Dallas Mavericks have not gotten off to a terrible start to the season, but there are some concerns already. Luka Doncic has struggled with his efficiency to start the season and there doesn’t seem anyone else on the roster that has stepped up as a consistent No. 2.

The fact that the Mavs could not address that during the offseason is already hurting the team this early in the year.
