Myles Turner, Indiana Pacers
After this season, Myles Turner only has one year remaining on his contract. And there’s a very good chance that the Indiana Pacers elect that they aren’t going to re-sign him to the long-term, rich deal that he’ll likely be able to garner on the open market after next season.
There’s a very real chance, especially with how much of an early-season hole that the Pacers currently find themselves in, that Turner is, at the very least, shopped in the next couple of months ahead of the NBA Trade Deadline.
The Lakers would be foolish if they didn’t inquire about Turner. He’d immediately help their frontcourt, give Anthony Davis a legit center to play beside, and would help solve some of the team’s interior defensive issues.
