NBA Trade Rumors: 5 teams that should pursue Caris LeVert

The Cleveland Cavaliers are another team that makes sense for LeVert. After losing Collin Sexton, the Cavs have had trouble replacing his production and presence on the depth chart. Even though Darius Garland has been great this season, adding another quality scoring guard would help this team cement themselves as a legit playoff threat.

Cleveland is hovering around .500 and has some impressive wins already on its resume. If they can add a player of LeVert’s talent, there’s no question this team will be able to remain in the running for a playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.

Perhaps the only thing that could stand in the way of the Cavs pursuing LeVert is the front office not believing that it’s worth it to part ways with an asset for a short-term playoff run – especially if they plan on re-signing Sexton to a long-term deal.
