7. Miami Heat

With everything that has happened to the Miami Heat, there’s no reason to believe why Erik Spoelstra shouldn’t be the favorite to win the NBA’s Coach of the Year award. The Heat are currently a top 4 team in the Eastern Conference and we still haven’t seen the trio of Kyle Lowry, Bam Adebayo, and Jimmy Butler play together for more than 15 games this season.

The fact that the Heat has managed to stay afloat in the East despite all the injuries that they’ve had to fight through just hammers down just how good this team can be come playoff time.

Of course, in order for that to be so, they’re going to need to be healthy. It remains to be seen if the Heat will be able to do that this season.
