Miami Heat trade target: Cory Joseph, G, Detroit Pistons

Entering this season, one of the biggest questions surrounding the Heat revolved around their durability and their depth. While the durability question won’t be answered until the playoffs, we’ve learned a little bit about their depth.

A case can be made that the Heat has emerged as one of the deepest teams in the Eastern Conference this season but if there are still questions about one position in terms of depth, it comes at the point guard position.

Cory Joseph could fill a void for this team because I’m not sure how comfortable they would be heading into the playoffs with Gabe Vincent as the primary backup for Kyle Lowry. Especially with the uncertainty that surrounds Victor Oladipo and his impending return.
